Laura Merlini is Managing Director, EMEA at CAIA Association, working across market outreach, brand development and member engagement in alternative investments. She previously worked at Fortis Bank in Milan, Madrid and Geneva. Since obtaining her CAIA Charter in 2007 she has co-founded the CAIA Iberia Chapter and co-headed the CAIA Switzerland Chapter. She became a Certified Investment Fund Director in 2015, and is a member of the UN PRI Hedge Fund Advisory Committee and a non-executive director at Agave Advisors in Geneva.
