GLOBAL PRIVATE WEALTH AWARDS · JUDGING

Independent Judging & Entry Rules

A fair, transparent and evidence-based process. Participation is free.

The Global Private Wealth Awards are designed to recognise demonstrable excellence through a fair, transparent and evidence-based process.

Participation is free. Commercial relationships with the organiser or presenting publication have no influence over judging.

Who May Enter

Eligible private wealth professional service providers, specialist advisers, technology and operational providers, philanthropic advisory firms, charitable foundations and philanthropic delivery organisations. Philanthropic initiatives without an organisation website may still enter.

Who Is Not Eligible as a Nominee

Single Family Office principals, UHNW private investors and institutional LPs are not eligible as nominees in their capacity as capital owners or allocators. Individual investment portfolios are not eligible.

Free Entry

No nomination, evidence, shortlisting or award fee applies. Gala attendance and sponsorship are separate optional activities.

Entry Limits

A maximum of three categories per organisation and one entry per organisation per category. Self-nominations and third-party nominations are permitted; third-party nominations require the nominee's consent.

Key Dates

Nominations open Monday 12 October 2026. The published deadline is Friday 30 July 2027, 11:59pm UK time; Private Markets Group Ltd may, at its discretion, accept late nominations or extend the deadline. Finalists are expected to be announced on 13 September 2027. The gala takes place in October 2027; the exact date and venue are to be confirmed.

Evidence Requirements

Written evidence only: an organisation profile of up to 150 words and a supporting evidence statement of up to 750 words, submitted through the official nomination form. Document uploads are not accepted. Supporting evidence should principally demonstrate relevant work, service delivery and outcomes during the 24-month period ending 30 July 2027. Earlier achievements may be included where they provide necessary context or demonstrate sustained impact. Evidence must be relevant and truthful.

How Entries Are Checked

Private Markets Group Ltd reviews every nomination manually for eligibility, completeness, duplicates and the entry limits. Where an organisation exceeds three categories or submits more than one entry in a category, it will be asked which entries to retain. Nominations that do not meet the entry terms may be declined. Private Markets Group records submissions, eligibility and judging decisions in a private administration spreadsheet.

Judging Panel

The panel will be drawn primarily from Single Family Office principals, family office executives and institutional limited partners, supplemented by independent specialists with relevant subject-matter expertise. Judge identities are kept confidential until confirmed and authorised for publication. Any complimentary hospitality offered to judges is not linked in any way to their scores or decisions.

Judging Criteria

Weighting of each criterion
Quality and relevance of services25%

Expertise, governance and professionalism20%
Innovation and adaptability15%
Long-term strategy15%

For philanthropy categories, outcomes are assessed in terms of charitable effectiveness, governance and public benefit rather than commercial growth.

Finalists and Winners

Each eligible nomination is assessed by three independent, non-conflicted judges against the published weighted criteria. The judges' weighted scores are averaged to determine the overall score for each entry. Normally, up to three finalists may be selected per category, provided entries meet the required standard. The highest-scoring eligible finalist will ordinarily receive the award. Where scores are tied or a material procedural issue arises, the organiser will arrange an independent moderation review involving non-conflicted judges. The organiser may withhold an award where the required standard has not been demonstrated. Finalist status does not guarantee an award. Judging decisions on merit are final, subject to the published procedural review process.

Independence

Judges must declare any conflict of interest and will not assess entries where one exists. The organiser's commercial team plays no part in selecting winners.

Sponsorship and Judging Independence

Sponsorship, advertising, commercial partnerships and gala attendance have no influence on nomination eligibility, judging scores, finalist selection or award outcomes. An organisation sponsoring a specific regional, professional services or philanthropy award may not compete in that same sponsored category during the 2027 programme. It may submit nominations in other eligible categories, subject to the normal entry limits. Title, strategic and hospitality sponsorships do not automatically prevent participation in eligible categories. Sponsors do not appoint judges, assess entries or participate in selecting winners. Ceremonial trophy presentation and category branding are promotional activities only and do not imply endorsement of, or influence over, the winner. A sponsor must not present an award to its own organisation.

Confidentiality

Submitted evidence is shared only with Private Markets Group staff administering the awards and the judges assigned to that entry. Submitted evidence and confidential information will not be published automatically, and client-identifying or commercially sensitive material will not be published without permission. Nominators should not include client names or personal data about clients without consent.

Finalist and Winner Announcements

The organiser intends to publish the names of shortlisted and winning organisations through the awards website, UK Private Wealth Magazine, Private Markets Group communications and relevant event materials. Before publication, shortlisted organisations will be contacted to confirm their details and obtain any necessary permissions for the use of names, logos, quotations and other supplied materials. Participation does not require an organisation to purchase tickets, sponsorship or advertising. Use of official awards branding by finalists and winners is subject to the organiser's published brand guidelines.

Privacy and Data Retention

Private Markets Group Ltd administers the awards and is responsible for determining how nomination information is used. Online submissions are received through Formspree, a United States-based service provider, and may be processed outside the United Kingdom. Nomination details are recorded in a restricted-access private spreadsheet. We use this information to administer nominations, verify eligibility, communicate with participants and conduct judging; the independent judges assigned to an entry may receive the relevant nomination details and evidence. Sponsorship, gala and nomination-interest enquiries are used to respond to the enquiry and are covered by our Privacy Policy. Marketing communications about the awards and UK Private Wealth Magazine are optional, sent only where you tick the separate updates box, and are not a condition of entry. Nomination information will normally be retained for up to 12 months following the awards ceremony, after which it will be securely deleted or anonymised unless a longer period is required by law or necessary to resolve an outstanding matter. To exercise your data protection rights, email office@privatemarkets-group.com. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Disqualification, Withdrawal and Programme Changes

Private Markets Group Ltd reserves the right to decline or disqualify a nomination where information is materially inaccurate, misleading or incomplete; eligibility requirements are not met; necessary permissions have not been obtained; or participation would materially undermine the integrity of the awards. Nominators or nominated organisations may request withdrawal by emailing office@privatemarkets-group.com. The organiser may amend categories, dates or programme arrangements, or postpone or cancel the awards where reasonably necessary. Material changes will be communicated through the awards website or directly to affected participants where practicable. No nomination or award fee is charged.

Procedural Review

A request for review of an identifiable procedural error may be submitted to office@privatemarkets-group.com within 14 days of the relevant results announcement. The organiser will consider the request and respond within a reasonable period. Disagreement with a judge's assessment of merit does not, by itself, establish a procedural error.

Gala Attendance

Nominees and finalists are not required to buy tickets. Award recognition is not conditional on attendance.

Governing Law and Responsibility

These entry terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
